In 1981, the author left his business career and with his family moved to a remote property in northern British Columbia. The purpose was to re-sort the priorities of life.

The “driveway” to the property was 2 miles across the lake and 3 miles down the river. The river emptied into another series of lakes and rivers which form the headwaters of the Yukon River. The landscape painted by the rivers, lakes and mountains was breathtaking!

Access to the property in the winter was by snow machine and in the summer, by jet boat. No phones, no power, few neighbours presented very few outside distractions and brought peace and rest to the soul.

Time was spent building a cabin, home-schooling their 2 sons and needless to say, cutting firewood for the long, cold winters. Reading and studying the Bible became a major interest. The author was most interested in the “prophetic” line in the Bible that flowed from the Book of Genesis to the Book of Revelation. Comparing world history to prophecies spoke of its divine authorship.

Outside reading “about the Bible” became short lived as speculation, opinions and contradictions presented themselves each time a page was turned. He found the solution was to put aside outside authors and use the Bible as its sole expositor. The Bible came alive and what was learned became the foundation of what has been written in “The Book of Revelation – Final Separation and Deliverance.”
